Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information FinchFinds ("we", "us") collects when you visit finchfest.com, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We don't ask you to create an account or give us personal details to use the site.
- Saved items. When you tap the heart on a product, the list is stored only in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device and we can't see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
- Display preferences. Your choice to turn the seasonal animation on or off is stored the same way.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site secure and running.
- Analytics. If we use a website analytics service, it may collect anonymous usage data such as which pages are visited and which links are clicked. We use this only to understand which products and seasons are useful.
- Email. If you email us, we'll use your address only to reply.
Amazon affiliate links and cookies
FinchFinds is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
When you click a product link, you leave our site and go to Amazon. Amazon and other third parties may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your visit and to record that you arrived from our site, so that we can earn a commission on qualifying purchases. That information is handled under Amazon's Privacy Notice, not this policy.
Fonts
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy.
How we use information
We use the limited information above to run and improve the site, keep it secure, and answer messages. We don't sell your personal information.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- You can clear saved items at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so won't stop the site from working.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal information. Email us and we'll help.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
